Trim Levels
The 2023 Charger is available in seven trim levels: SXT, GT, Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat Redeye Jailbreak, R/T, Scat Pack Widebody, and SRT Hellcat Widebody Jailbreak. The Charger comes with LED headlights and daytime running lights, black upper and lower grilles, puddle lights, tinted windows, a large air intake on the hood, 17-inch wheels, manually folding side mirrors, acoustic glass, and dual exhaust. The LED taillights span the trunk, and they have DODGE lettering in the center.
You can add 20-inch wheels, a spoiler, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a power sunroof. Heated power side mirrors with memory settings and performance tires are available as well. Available exterior colors include Destroyer Gray, Sublime, Plum Crazy, Pitch Black, F8 Green, Granite, Frostbite, Octane Red, B5 Blue, TorRed, Triple Nickel, Go Mango, White Knuckle, and Sinamon Stick, depending on trim. Racing stripes in Red, Carbon, Blue, Silver, and Gunmetal are optional.
Engine
The 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine provides 292 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque. You can also select a 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 that gives 370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque or a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 with 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. A 6.2-liter, supercharged Hemi V-8 that generates 797 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque is also available. With all of these engines, you'll get an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
The Charger is maneuverable and fast, and its multilink rear suspension provides a smooth ride. It's the most powerful mass-produced muscle car available. You can add paddle shifters for the steering wheel, high-performance Brembo brakes, all-wheel drive, and power steering with Sport, Custom, Track, and Auto modes. An Eco driving mode to save fuel is optional as well. With the 6.4-liter and 6.2-liter V-8 engines, premium fuel is recommended.
Interior
This vehicle can accommodate up to five people, and it has 16.5 cubic feet of trunk space. You'll also get folding rear seats, keyless entry, voice recognition, push-button start, a 7-inch driver information display, a Wi-Fi hotspot, remote start, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and a compass. A six-speaker sound system, a cabin air filter, dual-zone climate control, audio controls for the steering wheel, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay are standard as well.
You can choose a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and ventilated front leather seats, heated rear seats, and navigation. A universal garage door opener, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system are also available.
Safety Features
The 2023 Dodge Charger's multistage front airbags provide protection from accidents at a variety of speeds. This vehicle also has braking assistance, a rearview camera, rear parking assistance, traction control, hill start assistance, and electronic stability control.
